Past Highlights

Bristol

Participation in the Festival of Stone

on the Bristol Quayside in 2014.

A challenge to carve a sculpture

representing “Emergence”

from a block of stone

60 x 40 x 40 cms in 4 days.

Both inspiring and intimidating

to work alongside a diversity

of stone sculptors and masons.

30) Emergence - Bath Stone - 60 x 40 x 4

Cambridge

A Commission for The Rosie Maternity Hospital Public Garden as part of the development of Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge in 2012.  As a schoolgirl in Cambridge I witnessed the laying of the foundation stone of Addenbrooke's Hospital so was privileged to return 50 years later to the celebratory opening of the Rosie Hospital by Her Majesty the Queen.  The sculpture called “Resurgence”, embodies qualities of  embrace and protection pertinent to parent and child..

4) Resurgence - commissioned piece for T

Chudleigh

A commission from

Chudleigh Town Council

for a sculpture for Culver Park in 2016.

My piece called “Interspace”

is now re-installed in

the Natural Burial Site,

Chudleigh Cemetery.

It is a pleasure to be quietly

recognised in the town in which I work.

3) Interspace - commissioned by Chudleig
