Following studies at Dartington College of Arts, near Totnes, and Rolle College of Education, Exmouth in the 1970s, I set out in search of work & a life style that would unite my interests in art, people and nature. This lead to many years of working in Camphill Communities together with adults and teenagers with learning disabilities in England and South Africa. While the intensity of daily life, didn’t afford time to pursue individual ambitions, the inspiring environments, group dynamics and development of unimagined potential have fuelled many ensuing activities. I currently work and offer some classes at “The Clay Door Studio” in Chudleigh - so named because it has the possibility of opening a door & discovering oneself through art. Over the past 10 years I have exhibited widely in various West Country Sculpture Trails and Galleries. I have also been active in liasing between SW Sculptors Association And Sculpteurs Bretagne, and participating in exchange exhibitions in Landivisiau and Totnes.
